I had been wanting to make my own war game for awhile – one that included the full spectrum I thought was missing – economics, politics and military aspects. Forces of War was that game (and a finalist in TheGameCrafter.com’s Sprue Challenge competition).
The players’ game mat was a lot of fun to design. It’s the main interface from which they track their public’s support, technology level, resources and production cue.
